Sandals for my wedding?

I would love to wear sandals during my wedding. Do you think that it is to casual and wouldn%26#039;t be appropriate for a wedding? i want to be as comfortable as i can for my big day!

Sandals for my wedding?
Your getting married outdoors so there is probably already a certiain casualness to your wedding. I say wear them and be comforable! There are lots of cute bridal sandals out there that you could get to dress it up a little but still be allow you to be comfortable. And if your dress is long then no one is really gonna see what%26#039;s on your feet anyways!!
Reply:I think that if you want sandals, you should have sandals!

It%26#039;s your day. If you want to wear them, go for it! I think it would be cute for an outdoor wedding!
Reply:I guess it depends on the sandals. If you have any doubts, wear a pair of nice shoes for the ceremony and bring along some sandals for the reception.

Flip-flops, though, are pretty casual and I don%26#039;t think they%26#039;d be appropriate unless it%26#039;s a beach wedding (but that%26#039;s just me!).

There are plenty of pretty sandals out there that aren%26#039;t too casual, though, so if you found a pretty pair that are comfortable and coordinate nicely with your dress (gown), then go for it.
Reply:if you are more comfortable in sandals then i say go for it!! it%26#039;s your big day and no one should be looking at your feet!! plus if your dress is long enuf then no one should see them anyways!!!
Reply:We%26#039;re getting married in September outdoors in Texas, and I%26#039;m wearing sandals, so I say go for it!! ;) I%26#039;m going to be getting a pedicure, though, to be sure my toes are presentable...

I got a pair of these from Dyeables:

Reply:It%26#039;s appropriate so long as your dress isn%26#039;t Princess Di formal. Besides, who sees your feet? They should at least be nice looking sandals, though, not your favorite tattered flip flops. Your feet might be cold, though.
Reply:is it an outdoor wedding? i think it might be disrespectful in a church but if not i say go for it, it%26#039;s your wedding. i got married on a beach and went barefoot
Reply:your day do what makes you comfy
Reply:ware what ever you want
Reply:Red boots, sandals, what%26#039;s the difference. As long as you can dance, you are okay.
Reply:I think that sandles are a good idea especially if it is a summer wedding. I see that now there are alot of nice wedding type sandles to choose from with rhinstones ect.

Its a nice change rather then the traditional white satin pump that it seems like everyone would wear a while back.

I also notice that as time goes on women are putting theiri own uniqueness on their appearance for the wedding. I once saw something on TV where this lady wore a white dress with red satin strappy sandles, and red nail polish, I thought it looked great, and I think its a nice change, everything doesn%26#039;t have to be so traditional all the time.

Anyhow Congratulations!
Reply:Is your wedding informal and in the summer? If so, sandals are fine.

If your wedding is a formal church affair, try satin ballet slippers. Just as comfortable, but more dressy.
Reply:Hi!!!

Yes this is your day so wear what is comfortable for you
Reply:It is absolutely appropriate! I wore white leather ballet slippers and felt comfortable all day long. You don%26#039;t want to be in any pain. The sandals sound great - congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!
Reply:wear whatever floats your boat girl and congrats!!!!!
Reply:I just bought some %26quot;Just Married%26quot; flip flop as a gift for someone I know that is getting married soon. Although I think they are by far too casual for the actual wedding, you might want them for the honeymoon.

They were $5.99 each at Jo Ann Fabric. They had white ones for the bride and black ones for the groom. If you walked in the sand, it would leave a Just Married imprint.
Reply:i would say yes if it is an outdoor wedding. what ever makes you comphy is all that matters.
Reply:It%26#039;s your wedding so do whatever you want. If someone does not like it tell them to **** off!
Reply:Do what you want - a friend of mine wore white Birkenstocks under her dress, yet another switched at the reception to comfy shoes. Just see that they match your dress a bit if they%26#039;ll show, but if it%26#039;s a long dress, no one will see them anyhow. Who really looks at the brides feet?

Most brides and bridesmaids wind up barefoot, drunk and looking for their shoes at the end of the night anyhow!
Reply:Depending on the length of your dress and the style of the sandals, you might be able to get away with it. It%26#039;s your day...The ball is in your court! Best Wishes!
Reply:that should be a great idea
