Can i wear brown open toed sandals with black jeans?

I have a brown nine west open toed sandals and i%26#039;m thinking of wearing it with my black skinny jeans... is that ok? Or am i not supposed to wear brown sandals with black jeans? I have always worn the same brown sandals with all of my blue jeans but never with black.
